Jessica R. Underwood
Jessica R. Underwood is a Senior Trial Attorney at Wirtz Law APC. Ms. Underwood dedicates her practice to representing consumers in California lemon law cases. She has 2nd-chaired numerous lemon law jury trials and is extensively involved in all stages of trial preparation. She has also resolved hundreds of cases with excellent results for California consumers. Ms. Underwood passionately advocates for her clients in depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings throughout California state and federal courts.
Ms. Underwood received her Bachelor’s Degree from Whittier College in 2012, with two self-designed majors through the Whittier Scholars Program in Applied Political Philosophy and Literary Visual Narrative. Ms. Underwood graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in May 2015.
Prior to joining Wirtz Law in the spring of 2017, Ms. Underwood worked as a trial attorney in Juvenile Dependency Court, where she was responsible for a caseload of nearly one-hundred and fifty cases, representing clients from filing through trial. She also previously worked as an associate at a civil litigation firm, specializing in labor, employment, and education law
