We're Ready to Win Your Client's Lemon Law Case
Over the past several years, the lemon law attorneys at Wirtz Law APC have recovered over $40 million for California consumers. We consistently recover more than just a buyback for our clients, recovering both actual damages and civil penalties against the automakers and distributors. The experienced trial teams at Wirtz Law APC represent clients in every part of California -- from San Diego to San Jose, from Sacramento to San Bernardino, and from Ventura to Los Angeles to Riverside.

We're Ready For Trial
Wirtz Law tries more lemon law cases to a jury in a year on average than most lemon lawyers do in their careers. Our winning record is well-known and respected by defense counsel. We prepare every case for trial and the auto manufacturers and distributors know it. We don’t shoot for fast outcomes, limited damages, or high caseloads. We always seek maximum damages and the best results for your clients. We add the horsepower you need to get the value your clients deserve.

We Pursue all Available Damages
Our goal is always to obtain maximum recovery for our clients. We do not settle for less, and we consistently win actual damages and civil penalties at trial. We are determined to hold big automakers accountable for selling defective vehicles to California consumers.
We're Proud of Our Results
FRAUD VERDICT
$632,141.03
Our attorneys won the first fraud judgment in the U.S. in a case against Ford Motor Company.
In this case, Ford stipulated to a Lemon Law verdict and paid the maximum two-time civil penalty, totaling $132,141.03. Fraud claims were pursued at trial.
The jury returned a fraud verdict against Ford Motor Company for the DPS6 defective transmission and awarded $54,364 in compensatory damages plus $500,000 in punitive damages. The total judgment in this case against Ford Motor Company was $632,141.03, and Ford was ordered to pay plaintiff’s attorney’s fees and costs.
When our client contacted BMW to ask for a repurchase, he had brought his X5 in for repair at least 14 times.
BMW rubber-stamped a rejection claiming that all warrantable problems were addressed within reasonable time and attempts. The jury in Ventura County Superior Court disagreed and awarded our client maximum damages available under law, plus BMW was ordered to pay plaintiff’s attorney’s fees and costs.
JURY VERDICT
$204,824.91
A Ventura County Jury awarded our client $204,824.91, including a 2x civil penalty against BMW for a defective 2010 BMW X5.
